Ward 4A & 4B - General Medical

Wards 4A & 4B are two 30 bed medical wards providing care to patients with a wide range of conditions including heart, lung, and kidney problems, and many more. Patients are admitted acutely via the Emergency Department or transferred in from other wards or hospitals.

The Ward 4A & 4B multidisciplinary team consists of nursing staff, doctors, case managers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers and other allied health staff. Every patient is cared for by a team of doctors consisting of a consultant physician, a registrar and a house officer. The dedicated nursing staff work alongside the medical team to provide the best possible care to their patients with valuable support from our team of healthcare assistants. Our allied health colleagues provide expert advice and care to facilitate our patients’ return to optimal health.
