Nutrition and Dietetic Services

Dietitians provide both inpatient and outpatient services at Taranaki Base Hospital on a Monday to Friday basis between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm. Outpatient services are by appointment only.

A part time dietitian is based at Hawera Hospital providing inpatient services. Outpatient clinics are provided twice weekly at Hawera Hospital, monthly at the Stratford Health Centre and bi-monthly at the Patea Health Centre.

The Nutrition and Dietetic Services department is located on level 1 of the Special Services block at Taranaki Base Hospital, next to the main kitchen or the Stores block.

You can find the Hawera Dietitian in the Outpatients Department at Hawera Hospital.
