Asthma Education

The Asthma/Respiratory Education Service provides patients and their whānau with knowledge, skills and support to help them manage their respiratory conditions.

Referrals are from wards, health professionals, GPs, community and self referrals. For advice or to make an appointment please contact either the paediatric (under 16) or adult services (16 and over) by phoning the services during normal office hours.

We are able to provide group and individual appointments as required.

We work closely with the hospital’s consultants, paediatricians and GPs and outside agencies.
