Get your COVID-19 vaccination - and a free bacon butty breakfast

20 September 2021

Truckies, tradies and earlybirds can enjoy a free bacon butty breakfast after receiving their COVID-19 vaccination this Wednesday morning.

There is no need to book – just walk-in to the New Plymouth Vaccination Centre (at the Baker Tilly Building at 109 Powderham Street) between 7am and 9am on Wednesday 22 September.

Everyone who has a COVID-19 vaccination administered will receive a delicious bacon sandwich and coffee to set them up for the day!

Bevan Clayton-Smith, Taranaki COVID-19 Vaccination programme senior responsible officer, said “It may seem like a rash-er idea, but we really want to encourage people to get vaccinated, so we thought we’d go the whole hog and offer a free breakfast!”

And with plenty of car-porks, there’s no need to get salty about where to leave a van or truck while receiving your jab.
