The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has informed us of a consumer recall affecting the Klondyke Fresh brand milk and cream products produced between 4 and 12 March 2014

  • Blue, Light and Trim Milk sold in 1 litre and 2 litre bottles with a best before date between 14 -22 March 2014 (inclusive).
  • Fresh Cream sold in 300ml and 2 litre bottles with a best before date between 14 -22 March 2014 (inclusive).

These products are sold in dairies and food outlets throughout the lower South Island.
Klondyke Fresh will be issuing a Food Recall Notice for the affected milk and cream sold on the domestic market. Klondyke Fresh will issue a media statement on the recall notice today. Recall notices are likely to be published in newspapers on Tuesday 18 March.
