Sexual health clinic is on the move in New Plymouth

The Taranaki DHB Sexual Health Clinic is moving to 188 Powderham Street, New Plymouth on Friday February 22nd.

The former premises on Gover Street have been sold so the team with some new medical staff have moved to new premises.

Clinical Services Manager Leigh Cleland said the same free services will continue to be offered at the new premises.

“Free and confidential pregnancy tests and advice, STI, HIV, morning after pill and sexual health checks are available,” she said. “The service is still free, for any age and gender.”

“We do have a new phone number 0508 sexhealth. It is best to call for an appointment and leave a message if the team can’t get to the phone”.

Clinic hours Monday 6-8pm, Tuesday 9am - 1pm, Thursday 6-8 pm and Friday 9am - 1pm.
