Children's Ward receives donation from Child Cancer Taranaki

Taranaki Base Hospital Children's Ward received a generous gift in the shape of an iPad recently.

Child Cancer Taranaki member Shirley Salisbury organised for the iPad to be donated and hoped it could help entertain and distract children during their stay in hospital.

Play Specialist Sharon Luque already has ideas on how to use it with the kids, including distraction techniques, games, music, and developing photo books of their stay in the ward.

“We are very thankful for the donation from Child Cancer Taranaki," said Sharon.
