Celebrating Our Midwives and Nurses

International Day of the Midwife is celebrated every year on 5 May. This year is the 20th International Day of the Midwife and the theme is "Midwives Save Lives" .

International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. The theme for International Nurses Day is "Closing the Gap: From Evidence to Action".
