Temporary Closure to David Street Entrance

9 September 2010

Entry to Base Hospital from David Street will be temporary closed next week while work is carried out to address flooding problems in the area.

The New Plymouth District Council will be undertaking the work, which is scheduled to start on Monday, 13 September.

The first stage will require closure of the entry lane only. Once this section is completed it will re-open and the exit lane will close.

It is unknown how long this work will take as it will be dependent on weather.

There will be signage directing traffic to an alternative entry.

The TPW entry is the nearest, about 50m south, and provides access to all areas of the hospital. There are also entrances on Tukapa, Lorna and Lyn streets.

We appreciate you assistance with this and apologise for any inconvenience.
