Feeling Down on the Farm

Feeling Down on the Farm is publication written and produced by 'Like Minds Taranaki'.

The publication contains real farming people's stories about their experiences with mental illness and more importantly, it is also a resource organised by farmers, for farmers, about farmers.

The booklet contains a lot of information about what to do, how to listen, where to go for advice, and how to offer help - something which many people shy away from as they consider it is ''none of their business'' or they will only ''make things worse'', or they are reluctant because of the perceived associated stigma attached to ''mental illness''.
