Intensive Care Unit, High Dependency Unit, Coronary Care Unit

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU) is a 16-bed combined unit. The unit comprises of three ICU beds, 13 CCU/HDU beds, and a treatment/procedure room.

The Intensive Care, High Dependency and Coronary Care team provides high quality specialised care, whilst maintaining an environment of dignity and respect for patients, whanau and staff.

Patients in the ICU / CCU / HDU are able to have full bedside monitoring, with the information displayed on the bedside monitor, and also at the central workstation monitors, allowing for remote monitoring. 

Visiting Hours:

Immediate family only please. There is no visiting between 12.00pm and 2.00pm, as this is patient rest time.
