Recall of Anchor and Pams Fresh Cream

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) informed us that Fonterra Brands had detected the presence of E. coli in samples of fresh cream during routine testing at one dairy processing plant.  As such, Fonterra Brands have voluntarily recalled certain batches of Anchor and Pam’s fresh cream. Testing is currently underway to determine whether the E. coli detected is a pathogenic strain. The affected products have been sold in major supermarkets, food service outlets and dairies throughout the Upper North Island from Northland down to Turangi including Gisborne.

The affected batch numbers are:
