NZ Health Strategy Update
The Ministry of Health (MOH) is leading a consultation process on the draft updated NZ Health Strategy. The draft strategy proposes a clear view of the future we want for the health system over the next 10 years, to ensure all New Zealanders live well, stay well, get well. From 27 October to 4 December 2015, the MOH conducted approximately 90 meetings; talked face-to-face to more than 2,000 people, more than 7,000 consultation documents were downloaded and more than 100 comments were posted on the discussion forum. They also recorded a number of comments during the consultation meetings and assembled many of them in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2aYuKDDp4Q. During the coming months the Ministry of Health will analyse the feedback to the draft strategy and a final strategy will be produced by the middle of 2016.
