Taranaki Stop Smoking Service
The Taranaki Stop Smoking Service provides free quit programmes that are delivered by trained Quit Coaches through group programmes, clinics or one-on-one support. This service is free, confidential and they can come to you at any time - wherever you are.
Quitting is tough and group programmes, supported by Quit Coaches, enable you to give up with family, friends or work colleagues. Chances are, if those around you are determined to break the habit, you will be too.
The programme includes weekly support and on enrolment Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) such as patches, lozenges and gum can be provided free. Email the Taranaki Stop Smoking Service for more information or ask your GP. Referrals for clients or self-referrals can be made by contacting the service at firstname.lastname@example.org or 06 759 7314.
